EMS stands for “electromyostimulation” and means the electrical stimulation of muscle groups.
The increasingly popular method of strength training has its origins in physiotherapy.

During EMS training, the muscles are not trained with weights, but are stimulated to contract using electrical impulses.

 

This time-saving form of strength training is designed to build muscle strength more effectively – using equipment or your own body weight.
